Supporting families
in Northamptonshire

We provide free, accessible and non-judgemental support, to those affected by another's substance misuse throughout Northamptonshire.

Past Projects

M-PACT – Moving Parents and Children Together

Each M-PACT programme brings together a small number of families (Up to eight families), which usually includes at least one parent (or parenting figure) with a substance use problem, and at least one child aged between eight and 17 years. In many cases at least one other non-using adult will also participate in the programme.

The programme is comprised of 10 sessions. An individual family assessment is followed by eight consecutive weekly core sessions that last 2.5 hours, a family review session and a reunion held three months after the end of the programme for all families. From the assessment to the reunion, an M-PACT programme will take approximately six months.

I Matter Too

The programme, which will run alongside normal services offered by the charity, will give young people the chance to take part in a different activity with each session helping them express themselves, build self-confidence, meet new friends and most importantly, have fun!

The project will be run from various locations throughout Northamptonshire so please contact us to find one close to you.

If you know of any young people who you feel would benefit from our service, please do not hesitate to contact us to refer them onto the project. Alternatively, if you would like the charity to provide awareness regarding the project and/or any other services offered by Family Support Link, please call us on 01933 224632.

FSL Youth Committee

The FSL Youth Committee is run by young people who meet once a month at our Wellingborough office. The committee allows them the opportunity to give young people who are affected by someone else's substance use a voice and be a part of shaping the future of the charity.

If you would like to be involved please contact us, you do not have to be an existing client of our services.

If you would like further information please contact us on 01933 224632 or contactus@family-supportlink.co.uk.
